Simply ingenious or ingeniously simple describe the Hybrid 130 by Swiss kite designer Thomas K. Horvath. While working on his degree in architecture, he was involved in light, often collapsible structures and felt then that he may one day be involved in the development and design of kites. He has scaled back his architecture duties to focus more on developing synergetic kites that are inspired by the flying techniques and aerodynamics of birds. High tech without the fluff.
